To gain a deeper understanding of mental health issues in the African Canadian community, we must consider the impact of intergenerational Trauma and its legacy. We will provide information to assist educators and caregivers to help them gain awareness, address equity and anti black racism and provide strategies to use in the classroom and beyond to optimize student and young adult success.
