How do educators challenge bias in the school system?
How do I teach math using a culturally responsive approach?
How do we  create a learning environment that incorporates the experiences and identities of Black students?
Why does any of this matter?

This workshop is a parent perspective on ways in which schools can achieve more inclusive spaces that empower Black students to excel. We will explore unconscious bias within the school system that limits the academic opportunities for Black students. We will also explore culturally responsive teaching practices that incorporate intersectional identities and voices of black students.

The workshop is ideal for educators, administrators, parents and community organizations
